SHARA Pro shows as Free: restore your purchase
If SHARA shows the free tier after you bought Pro, restore the purchase. Click the capsule in Settings, choose Restore purchase, and enter your checkout email, your licence key or the order ID that starts with txn_. Restore checks the licence on your PC, so a key works with no connection.
Restore Pro#
Restoring is free and safe to repeat. It never charges you, and it only looks for a purchase that already exists.
- Open SHARA’s Settings. Click the capsule in the title bar. On the free tier it reads Get Pro.
- Choose Restore purchase. On the “Unlock SHARA Pro” sheet, click Already purchased? Restore purchase. The “Restore SHARA Pro” window opens.
- Enter one of three things. The email you used at checkout, your licence key (from About › Copy licence key on a PC that has Pro), or the order ID from your receipt email, which starts with
txn_. - Click Restore. If a purchase is found, Pro unlocks and the sheet closes.
Type the email exactly as it appears on your receipt. If you used a different address at checkout than the one you usually use, try that one, or paste the order ID instead.
Why Pro shows as Free#
| What you see | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The capsule reads “Get Pro” and you never paid | The 14-day trial ended, so SHARA is on the free tier. Your settings are kept. | Nothing is broken. The free tools carry on. Free, trial and Pro lists them. |
| You paid, but this is a new PC or a fresh install | The licence is not on this PC yet. | Restore with your email, licence key or order ID (steps above). |
| You paid, but checkout opened in your browser | SHARA could not hand the payment back, so it waits for you to restore. | Restore with the email you used at checkout. |
| You paid a minute ago and it still shows Free | The payment is still being confirmed, which can take a few minutes on a slow connection. | Wait a few minutes, then restore if it has not unlocked. |
| You bought SHARA from the Microsoft Store when it was paid | Pro for earlier Store buyers comes from the Store licence, not a Paddle order. | See the Store buyers section below, then restore once. |
You bought SHARA from the Microsoft Store#
SHARA was a paid Store app until July 23, 2026. If you bought it before the switch, you keep Pro for good, and nothing is owed. SHARA reads the Store licence for the account the Store is signed in to, and Restore purchase runs that check again.
- Sign in to the Microsoft Store with the account you bought with, then open SHARA’s Settings.
- Click the capsule and choose Restore purchase.
- If the sheet says no purchase was found, email support with the Microsoft account address and your Windows version.
What the restore messages mean#
- “No prior purchase found for that email, licence key, or order ID.” The lookup worked and found nothing for what you typed. Check the spelling, try the order ID from your receipt, or email support.
- “Couldn’t reach SHARA’s purchase servers.” SHARA could not go online. Check your connection, or allow SHARA through your firewall, then try again. A licence key works without a connection.
- Nothing happens after you cancel. Closing the Restore window without entering anything leaves things as they were.
Pro and offline use#
Your licence is a signed file that SHARA verifies on your PC. Once Pro is restored, it keeps working without an internet connection. Only an email or an order ID needs a connection, because the purchase has to be looked up first.
